We just got home late last night from playing our biggest show so far!
We found out last Thursday that we were one of four bands which had been selected from around 120 other bands all working for a spot at the show, so needless to say we were pretty pumped about playing!
On Tuesday afternoon we packed up and left on a 12 hour trip through the Rockies to play on the Ernie Ball Stage at the Calgary stop on the 2008 Warped Tour! We pulled into Calgary at around 3am Wednesday morning, and quickly fell asleep, only to awake again at 7:30 netting us a whopping 4 hours sleep!
We went down to Race City Speedway and checked in. The show was off the hook! We only got to play 4 songs but it was worth every penny in gas and molecule of emission into the atmosphere! We didn’t get to stay for the whole day because we had to get back on the road, so we left Calgary at 4pm and arrived back home safely at 3am.
Big thanks to the unstoppable Phil Maloney who drove every inch of the 24 hour trip… an unbelievable machine!
Huge thanks to every one who voted for us to play whether you were able to make it to Calgary to see us or not, we wouldn’t have been there without you!
And finally a massive thank you to everyone who rocked out with us, and stopped in their tracks to watch us play! You guys made the made it the most memorable show yet!
High five to Ernie Ball for putting on the contest that allows bands like us to to do shows like that! Amazing!
